The place is known for its view so yes its good but thts it, the entry required 500 baht of minimum spend per person, food options are not tht many. View is amazing and not tht many people so its enough space for everyone to make as many shots as u want. My friends food was ok but my tom yam was below average. We came day time but i think night time the view also interesting. There could be a q during lunch or dinner so better plan trip in between.

Came here because I saw it on TikTok… we were looking for a nice sunset view. This is right next to “A pillow and a blanket” …so you can get 2 viral places done in one day but also you have to be willing to pay. The commune had beautiful views and offer halal options! You have to pay either 200 baht per person to just get drinks and you get a bar stool like seat. Or 1000 baht for 2 people and you have to dine in, this allows you to pick a table and decide where you want to sit. You have to pay before entering. I can see why… people probably come to take photos and leave without paying for anything. We got there around 4:45 it was hot but beautiful we ordered a chicken burger, pizza and drinks all were good. Fros were cold and we asked them to give us hot fries but we think they just heated them in the microwave. But the rest of the food seemed fresh. Waiter was very nice and accommodating. If you want good seats come way before sunset because it fills up VERY quickly. Also if you are walking here it is uphill so you will be sweating and out of breath! Also just happy they had HALAL!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great experience overall! Food is 3 stars — decent and nicely presented, though not particularly memorable in terms of taste. The scenery is a solid 5 stars 🌿✨ calm, beautiful, and perfect for slowing down and enjoying the atmosphere. Each level has a minimum spend, so it’s good to check before choosing your seating area. The multi-level layout gives different views and vibes at every level, making the experience more interesting and photo-worthy. It’s easily accessible from Kata and Karon Beach, but not advisable to walk as the café is located in a hilly area. We came by rented motorcycles, which was convenient and recommended. Overall, a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view — worth visiting for the scenery and experience.
The food was average, nothing really wow or memorable enough to repeat. However, the view was soooooo beautiful! Definitely worth coming at least once in a lifetime. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained the minimum spending requirement for each seating level in advance. Every seat or level has a certain minimum spend per person.
The Commune Bar is truly a fantastic spot! The atmosphere is amazing — lively, friendly, and perfect if you enjoy a social scene. The staff are very polite and treat every guest warmly. There is a minimum spend of 800 THB for dining, while drinks at the bar start from around 200 THB. Our meal for two cost around 700 THB, which is quite reasonable considering the quality and vibe. The place is beautifully designed, and it attracts many tourists — especially those who love taking pictures, and honestly, it’s the kind of place worth capturing! Overall, it was a very fun, friendly, and enjoyable experience. If you love great vibes and beautiful ambiance in Phuket, this is definitely one of those places you’ll want to come back to again and again — just like I do! 😉
