Who we are

EatClip (a Clips Group product) operates eatclip.com, a restaurant discovery directory launching in Phuket, Thailand. Contact: hello@eatclip.com.

What we collect

• If you sign in: your email address; favourite/want-to-go/been lists; reviews you post.
• If you submit a restaurant claim: name, email, phone, role, plus any evidence link you share.
• Anonymous usage: aggregate page views via Plausible Analytics — no cookies, no personal identifiers.
• localStorage: if you save restaurants without signing in, place_ids are stored in your browser.

Why we collect it

• To run the service (your lists, your reviews, your sign-in).
• To respond to claims and communicate about your listing if you're a restaurant.
• To improve the product (aggregate analytics, no individual tracking).

Who we share with

• Supabase (database + auth) — hosted in Singapore.
• Vercel (hosting + CDN).
• Google (Places API for restaurant data + reviews).
• Apify (video discovery from public TikTok / Instagram).
• Anthropic (text content tagging only; no personal data).

We do not sell your data.

Your rights (Thailand PDPA / EU GDPR)

• Access — request a copy of your data.
• Deletion — request your account and data be erased.
• Correction — update inaccurate information.
• Withdraw consent — sign out and request deletion.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, an i18n cookie to remember your language preference, and localStorage for anonymous favourites. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
