What people say

Doo Dee Patong delivers fresh, quickly-prepared Thai food at good prices in a casual, clean spot near Patong Beach—perfect for solo travelers or a quick meal. Tom yam and curries shine, though portions run small and some dishes like grilled fish can be hit-or-miss; expect card fees and slower service during peak hours.

The restaurant is busy all the time, but quick service without doubt. Only thing the price does not correspond with the quantity of the foods- small portions for children 🧒🏽 to eat more likely. Try it out - nevertheless don’t expect you will get full from a dish 🍲. I have tried somewhere else for the price it’s worth😋

No-frills restaurant with above average food! The grilled fish looked amazing but was slightly dry and the crispy skin was too salty to be eaten :( The tom yam (less spicy) was amazing and very well-balanced – it’s our favourite dish here! The rest of the dishes like omelette and fried morning glory were pretty standard, good but nothing out of the ordinary.

Great food! Good staff service but they can take a while in looking after you in busy times. They have the facility to pay with contarles card with a 5% extra charge. There is also washrooms.

I ate here several times as it was close to my hostel. Prices are amazing, food is delicious and comes out quickly. They do accept card (however with a % fee). Food came out quickly and I enjoyed every time.

We came here for lunch and were really happy with our overall experience. The restaurant is located just a couple of streets away from the main beach road, making it easy to find but still quiet enough to relax. The atmosphere is casual, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. All dishes were freshly prepared and arrived quite fast. I started with a Caesar salad, which looked nice and fresh, although there was a bit too much dressing for my taste. I would have preferred it lighter, but overall it was still enjoyable. We also ordered chicken wings on skewers, which looked amazing and came with a delicious sauce — perfectly grilled and full of flavor. Another highlight was the Laab, a Thai-style minced meat salad with mint, onion, and herbs. It was served cold and packed with flavor — perfectly seasoned and very authentic. We also had squid with sauce, which looked great and tasted just as good. Another dish we tried was chicken in coconut sauce, which was absolutely delicious — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. For drinks, we had water and pink milk, which was very sweet but refreshing. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes — both Thai and Western options like pizza and sandwiches — plus a great selection of beers. In total, we paid only 530 Baht for everything, which is incredibly affordable for such a touristy area. At the end, they even gave us a small mint candy with the bill — a nice touch. Overall, a great experience and definitely a place we’d recommend to anyone visiting the area.
