The food was amazing, the service (like everyone else said) is so warm and lovely. We had the volcano eggs, cockles, claypot tanghoon noodles, grouper black bean soup and mango sticky rice. Way too much for 2 people because portions are generous but no regrets! Booked a second reservation for tomorrow to go back for the red ruby and more fresh seafood!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) This authentic Thai restaurant delivered an unforgettable dining experience, and every dish on the table was a testament to bold, traditional Thai flavors! The star of the show was undoubtedly the Kin Dee’s Volcano Eggs—a magnificent coconut-infused seafood omelette served in a hot pot to keep it piping hot. It was fluffy, packed with plump fresh shrimp, and bursting with sweet coconut aroma, living up to its dramatic name perfectly. The squid ink squid was another standout, with tender squid coated in a rich, savory black sauce that was full of depth. The stir-fried crab was cooked to perfection, featuring sweet, juicy meat that was incredibly flavorful. Other highlights included the fragrant pad thai with large prawns, the zesty seafood salad tossed in a spicy lime dressing, and the crisp, fresh stir-fried greens. The red curry was creamy and aromatic, with a mild heat that balanced the bold spices beautifully. For drinks, the fresh young coconut water was the ultimate refresher, and a cold Singha beer paired flawlessly with the robust flavors of the food. The service was prompt and friendly, and the rustic, lively ambiance made us feel right at home, like dining at a beloved local spot in Thailand. From the showstopping Volcano Eggs to the perfectly executed classics, this restaurant hits every note. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic, mouthwatering Thai seafood feast!
It’s one of the top restaurant recommendations among locals in the Mai Khao area, offering a wide variety of Thai dishes and seafood. Overall, the food was good; however, the seafood felt overpriced and wasn’t as large or as fresh as expected. The pricing was noticeably higher compared to other Michelin-recognized restaurants in town.
Kin Dee, located near Sarasin Bridge in Mai Khao - the northern most district of Phuket, was a truly authentic Phuket restaurant. It offered all most all kinds of Phuket foods with amazingly authentic tastes. Admittedly, all dishes that we had there were so delicious. It could be a restaurant that offered the most delicious Phuket dishes in the island. It was very famous and could be very crowded. Advance reservations are highly recommended.
Impressive across the board. Delicious food, impeccable friendly service, and comfortable atmosphere. Also known for Lisa Blackpink's visit but the food is definitely still the star of the show. The highlights were the volcano steamed egg with the light and airy soufflé texture, the prawn in prawn head butter, and soft shell crab curry. The other dishes were also excellently executed. Staff were also friendly and the interior is spacious, clean, and decorated with hanging orchids and plant pots.
